A Brush with Kindness

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor repairs homes in partnership with qualified, limited-income homeowners who earn between 30% and 80% of the median income in Greater Bangor.  The housing repair program, A Brush with Kindness, is an exterior home preservation service that offers painting, light landscaping, and minor repair services for homeowners in need.  

Repair work is completed by volunteers in partnership with the recipient family using donated materials when possible.  Retail estimates to complete repairs can not exceed $500.  Selected families pay a flat fee of $25 at the time services are rendered.
