Delivery Agreement

Thank you for your recent ReStore purchase! We offer delivery service Tuesday through Saturday for $40.00 to towns in Greater Bangor area, which include:

Bangor

Bradley

Brewer

Carmel

Dedham

Eddington

Glenburn

Hampden

Hermon

Holden

Hudson

Kenduskeag

Levant

Milford

Newburgh

Old Town

Orono

Orrington

Penobscot Nation

Veazie

Winterport

The truck leaves each day for deliveries between 9:00 and 10:00. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a time estimate for delivery; the schedule is developed to maximize overall efficiency of our route.

Upon request, we may be able to take items inside as long as there are no more than one or two steps to navigate. This decision is up to the Associates discretion to be determined  upon variable circumstances such as weather for the purpose of safety considerations.

NOTE:

Habitat volunteers and associates are not professional movers. They have a schedule to keep that is booked days in advance. They are there to just drop and go.  They DO NOT disassemble or install doors, furniture or appliances.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore delivers to the door as long as our truck is able to safely pull into the driveway and our staff and volunteers can safely navigate the path to your door.

We cannot remove doors or other obstacles. You are responsible for measuring beforehand to ensure your items will fit properly through all doors and hallways. If the items will not fit into your home we can cancel the delivery and return the items for STORE CREDIT. A second attempt delivery will require a second delivery fee.

Regarding donations, please be aware that when you do not give us an accurate account of what is being donated, it affects our ability to keep a schedule, which affect all the other customers booked that day. In some cases that demands we reschedule commitments we cannot keep due to unforseen circumstances.

NOTE:

*Addendum: We do live in the Great State of Maine, and inclement weather is often a circumstance that must be dealt with periodically. That means in the winter we may need to reschedule due to inclement weather related issues for safety reasons on short notice.
